The $90 bribe(ostensibly sent to help with Medicare cost) from the Enshittificator-in-chief was just donated to Fredrick Wellman, Democratic candidate for the 2nd Congressional District in Missouri.
The district we live in is very conservative. It has a history of sending some of the worst Republicans to Congress. The current US Representative is Ann Wagner, who, IMHO, never has had an original thought, never deviates from the Republican talking points, and is absolutely the wrong person for the job. She is an adamant climate denier and anti-abortionist.
However, she is indirectly responsible for the tag line of my blog: Home of The Little Known Blogger. I had sent a letter to her about my concerns about climatic change. She sent me a response that was basically pooh-poohing my concerns. I published her letter and my comments on this platform several years ago. A local independent newspaper, The River Front Times, picked it up, and from there The Huffington Post picked it up. One the commenters on HuffPost, who was obviously an Ann Wagner supporter, lambasted me, ending by calling me a little known blogger. My claim to fame, possibly, and the source of the tag line of my blog.
Wellman and Wagner are running neck to neck according to the most recent polling. That in itself is surprising given the nature of the district. I saw that as a good investment of my money, possibly outing this horrible Congresswoman from office.
When I pointed out to Señora that she too had received a bribe from tRump, she was horrified. She immediately wanted to get rid of it in some manner. She currently is considering what charity or candidate to donate it to.
And so it goes in this crazy, Trumpian dystopia.
