Quirkiness and intelligence

I heard an interesting theory this weekend.  The theory is that you can judge a person’s intelligence by their degree of quirkiness.

The theorist stated that you can be quirky, and not intelligent.  But then they went on to reiterate that as IQ increases, quirkiness increased.

Any thoughts?

  1. Quirky + stupid = village idiot
Quirky + smart = money and money can translate into the perception of IQ
