I sincerely hope we are a better nation than what tRump and his sycophants are attempting to do to our country currently… I sincerely hope so.
I would like to believe that we are a better nation, too. But, our history of genocide (First Peoples); slavery (400 years); discrimination (first use of “socialism” was when “blacks” tried to vote), etc. does not bode well. We’ve known what was going on all along. Don’t interfere with my comfort, my lifestyle, etc. Wish it were otherwise.
