One of the big arguments I heard after Clinton’s escapade with the lady of the blue dress was that it was a horrible example for our children. While I thought Clinton was a good president I did wish he could keep his zipper up.
The latest go around of corporate greed is teaching a different lesson.
Fuck up and move up. Do a great job and you become too valuable to replace so you do not move up.
And the leaders of this country – don’t take responsibility, blame the other ‘guy’, bullshit the voter, kiss the hand that feeds your reelection campaign and screw everyone else. That’s the way with the entire USA now, parents blame teachers for their kids behavior, home owners blame the banks for their indebtedness, US car manufacturers blame the economy/credit crunch for their financial problems, etc, etc, etc.
I guess we all need a few laughs in this time of financial turmoil. I was
at my bank today; there was a short line. Just one lady in front of me,
an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yen for dollars. It was obvious
she was a little irritated. . ..
She asked the teller, ‘Why it change? Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla
fo yen. Today I only get hunat eighty? Why it change?’
The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, ‘Fluctuations.’
The Asian lady says, ‘Fluc you white people too!’
