I have used your services twice now. I want to tell that I have been well pleased both times, especially so the last time.
As you know, a young woman with less than optimal driving skills damaged the front right portion of my 97 Ford F150 pickup. Besides the obvious cosmetic damage there was extensive damage to the suspension. Compounding the damage was the insurance carrier that this woman utilized. Let us just say, that their business practices were less than optimal and in my opinion, borderline unethical. It initially took me 6 weeks to come to some sort of general agreement that it was their client’s fault. After you hauled my truck to your shop it was another 3 weeks of going around with their adjustor to come to agreement as to the damage and how it should be repaired. A good portion of this time my truck was up on your rack tying that up, and forcing you to work around it.
You showed great patience in working with this company. I especially admire your resistance to their suggestions of short cuts and cheap repairs. I imagine they get away with this at a lot of shops.
I picked up my newly repaired truck late one Friday evening. I was driving to St. Louis immediately afterwards. I thought about taking my other vehicle, but it was forecasted to snow up there and I did not want to take the convertible. Before I took off I called my girlfriend and she asked me if I was going to test drive the vehicle first. I told her no, I was just going to drive it there. To which she replied that I was going to “trust-drive” it.
Well I “trust drove” the truck to St. Louis and back without a hitch, and it drove like a champ. Not only did it drive like a champ, but the body work looks great.
Thank you for great work in the repairs and for you persistence in seeing that the repairs were done right despite pressure to the contrary.
